06 April 2021 – Lockdown 3 Update
On 05 April, the Prime Minister confirmed that we will be allowed to reopen from Monday 12 April. This means you won’t need an Appointment to come and shop with us, albeit we will need to control number of people in the store. We’ve set this to a maximum of 8 at any one time.
Until this time however, we are required to carry on trading via the Click & Collect system that has been in place so far this year. If you have bought something over the phone or via the website, or if you have something that needs servicing, please use the Appointment system to book yourself in. Please don’t just show up! The system allows us to have everything ready for you when you arrive, keeping social contact to a managed minimum. We run Click & Collect daily between 11:00 and 3.00pm.
As part of reopening we will also restart our lessons and the date for this is Saturday 17 April. Current students will be contacted this week with details. If you’re a new student interested in taking lessons, everything you’ll need to know can be found on our Lessons page – please contact us for availability.
We are an independent music shop that has been on London Road in St Albans since 1980.
We sell guitars and pianos for everyone from the beginner to the semi pro. Our range of Yamaha Digital Pianos are proudly displayed in our piano showroom, while acoustic, electric and bass guitars adorn our walls across two floors. There’s even a small room full of ukuleles.
Our workshop is always busy servicing guitars and amps and a team of super cool and committed tutors deliver lessons in guitar, bass and drums during term time for students of all ages.
We’re open 09:30 – 17:00 Monday – Saturday, with parking available on our forecourt.
