2 students share a tutor and spend 45 minutes learning how to play their instrument against the back drop of a classic rock / pop song. They then spend the final 15 minutes of the lesson performing that song with all the other students in the room, experiencing what it’s like to play in a real rock band.

Have a look at how it works:

Hi, could you let me know what age the Rock school is aimed at, what time it is and how much it costs. Thanks Sarah Hithchiner

      Hi Sarah,

Our Rockschools run on a Saturday morning and Tuesday evening in St Albans and a Saturday afternoon in Harpenden. Our youngest student is 7 and our oldest 73! Nearly everyone joins us as a beginner and I guess the majority of students are 9 > 12.

Lessons are taught in pairs and we try our best to match age and ability within the pair. Each lesson is an hour long and it is a weekly lesson. The price is £22.50 which is payable by a monthly standing order of £90.

If you think it might work for you, we’d be happy to line up a taster lesson, just let us know!
